KnowledgeTree Commercial Edition includes several client-side tools that provide alternative document management and integration interfaces to the web-based KnowledgeTree repository.

Note: KnowledgeTree provides two on-premise editions, and a hosted version of the software:

•	KnowledgeTree Commercial edition (on-premise)

•	KnowledgeTree Community edition (on-premise)

KnowledgeTreeLive is the hosted, on-demand, 'Software-as-a-Service' version of KnowledgeTree Commercial on-premise edition. A KnowledgeTreeLive subscription provides instant access to all the features and tools that are included with the KnowledgeTree Commercial on-premise editions.

The KnowledgeTree Client Tools include:

•	KnowledgeTree Tools - a single package download for Microsoft Office Windows (2003, 2007, and XP), and includes: KnowledgeTree Explorer, KnowledgeTree Office Integration, KnowledgeTree Outlook Integration, and the KnowledgeTree Desktop Imaging tool.

Note: On Microsoft Office 2007, we recommend that you use KnowledgeTree's

latest Tool for desktop/KnowledgeTree integration - the KnowledgeTree Office Add-in (see

below).

Commercial Editions Only

•	KnowledgeTree Office Add-in - a client-side, desktop tool for Microsoft Office 2007 that allows you to work with KnowledgeTree documents from within the following Microsoft Office 2007 applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

•	KnowledgeTree Hot Folders - integrates your scanner or bulk document handling applications with KnowledgeTree.

Commercial Editions Only

•	KnowledgeTree Drop Box - drag and drop one or more documents and folders from your Windows desktop right into KnowledgeTree.

Note: At the time of writing (July 2009), KnowledgeTree Drop Box is also available for use with

KnowledgeTree Community Edition (from version 3.5.3).
