KnowledgeTree Hot Folders Window

This window displays the status of the KnowledgeTree Hot Folders application and of tasks in progress. It also allows you to open the processing folders on the local file system, and provides access to the Hot Folders Settings Window where you can configure how Hot Folders connects to KnowledgeTree and the upload mode to use (basic or advanced).

You can use this window to:

Display

This screen displays a continuous log of the current status of the system.

Control Service

Start

This button starts the KnowledgeTree Hot Folders service.

Stop

This button stops the KnowledgeTree Hot Folders service.

Open Folder

WatchFolder

This button opens the watchfolder, which is the local file system folder where documents and their accompanying XML files are copied or dragged to for upload to KnowledgeTree.

ArchiveFolder

This button opens the archivefolder, which is the local file system folder where successfully uploaded documents and their accompanying XML files are moved once these documents are successfully uploaded from the watchfolder to KnowledgeTree.

FailureFolder

This button opens the failurefolder, which is the local file system repository for documents that have failed the document processing and upload task.

This button opens the KnowledgeTree Hot Folders About screen, where you can view version information, a product description, copyright information, and KnowledgeTree contact details.

This button opens the KnowledgeTree Hot Folders Settings Window, where you can:

Note: When choosing a location for the KnowledgeTree Hot Folders processing folders, do not choose 'desktop'. See the KnowledgeTree Hot Folders 1.1.1 release notes for more information about this known issue.

Exit

This button closes the Hot Folders Window.
