This procedure installs and upgrades the KnowledgeTree Office 2007 Add-In.

Pre-requisites:

•	KnowledgeTreeLive account; or, KnowledgeTree On-premise

•	Windows client machine

•	Microsoft .Net Framework version 2.0

Perform the following steps:

1.	Are you ...

•	installing KnowledgeTree Office 2007 Add-in for the first time? Go to step 2.

•	upgrading from KnowledgeTree Word 2007 Add-In 1.0.0 BETA? Please uninstall KnowledgeTree Word 2007 Add-In 1.0.0 BETA through Add/Remove Programs; then, proceed with this installation.

2.	Ensure that all Microsoft Office applications are shut down.

3.	Download KnowledgeTree Office 2007 Add-In from the KnowledgeTree website.

4.	Run setup.exe to install the application.

Important: The KnowledgeTreeOffice2007AddIn-1.0.0 BETA install package includes three

files: KB908002, setup.exe, and KnowledgeTreeOffice2007AddInSetup-1.0.0-Beta.msi. You

must run SETUP.EXE to install KnowledgeTree Tools Office 2007 Add-In. This file installs a

will NOT be installed and the application may fail.

5.	When prompted, enter the server details (URL):

•	For KnowledgeTreeLive, use the following format: 'https://live.knowledgetree.com/<accountname>'

•	For KnowledgeTree on-premise, use the following format: 'http://<url>:<port>, eg 'http://dms.acme.com:8080'. You may want to substitute 'http://' with 'https://'
