3.Double click on setup.exe to launch the KnowledgeTree Hot Folders Setup Wizard; then, click through the wizard to install KnowledgeTree Hot Folders. Please note the following:
During the installation, you will be required to add your KnowledgeTree login details.  - if you are a KnowledgeTreeLive subscriber, enter the URL to your KnowledgeTreeLive domain (including your account name); then, enter your KnowledgeTreeLive user name and password.

Note: Although KnowledgeTree Hot Folders is not currently (March 2008) available for

use with KnowledgeTree's On Premise edition, this feature is in development. When

using KnowledgeTree Hot Folders with KnowledgeTree's On Premise edition, you will

use the URL to the KnowledgeTree server.

4.On your local machine, configure the Application Event log to overwrite old events:

Note: This is an optional task that prevents the Application Log filling up with

KnowledgeTree Hot Folders events, which may cause KnowledgeTree Hot Folders

to fail.

Open the Control Panel on the client machine; then, double click Administrative Tools.
Double click Event Viewer; then, right click on the Application log file, listed in the left pane of the Event Viewer Window. Select Properties to open the Application Properties dialog box.
On the General tab of the Application Properties dialog box, locate the Log size fieldgroup; then, select the Overwrite events as needed radio button.
Click OK.
