KnowledgeTree DWI Service Control Window

This window allows you to view the status and progress of KnowledgeTree DWI Service tasks, to open the processing folders on the local file system, and to manually control the application.

You can use this window to:

Display

Service Events

This screen displays a continuous log of the current status of the system.

Control Service

Start

This button starts KnowledgeTree DWI Service.

Note: The Service automatically starts if your computer is shut down and then rebooted. When restarting the service after it has stopped, KnowledgeTree DWI Service processes any files that were in the watchfolder at the time the service is started.

Stop

This button stops all KnowledgeTree DWI Service processes.

Open Folder

Watch Folder

This button opens the KnowledgeTree DWI Service watchfolder, which is the local file system repository for all uploaded documents and the accompanying XML files, prior to processing.

Archive Folder

This button opens the KnowledgeTree DWI Service archivefolder, which is the local file system repository for all documents that have been successfully processed - i.e. the document has been uploaded to the repository, and its metadata was harvested from the accompanying XML file.

Failure Folder

This button opens the KnowledgeTree DWI Service failurefolder, which is the local file system repository for all documents that have failed the document processing procedure.

Action

Exit

This button closes the KnowledgeTree DWI Service Control Window.
