KnowledgeTree DWI Service Configuration Window

This window allows you to define or modify KnowledgeTree DWI Service configuration settings.

This Window contains the following tabbed pages:

Connection Tab_________________________________________

This tabbed page displays the URL and user credentials used to connect to the KnowledgeTree Server, and it displays settings for a proxy server connection.

Connection Settings

KnowledgeTree Server

The URL to the KnowledgeTree repository.

Username

The name of the person authorized to access the server specified in the KnowledgeTree Server field.

Password

The password used by the person specified in the Username field, and which is used along with this username as a credential to access the server specified in the KnowledgeTree Server field.

Proxy Settings

Use Proxy

This check box defines whether to use a proxy server connection to KnowledgeTree.

Address

The URL for the proxy server.

Port

The port to use for the proxy server.

Authentication

This check box defines whether to require authenticated connections to the proxy server.

Username

The name of the authenticated user to the proxy server.

Password

The password of the authenticated user for the proxy server.

Document Processing Tab___________________________________

This tabbed page displays the folder locations of the KnowledgeTree DWI Service local processing folders, and defines how documents are processed on upload.

Folders

WatchFolder

The KnowledgeTree DWI Service folder where documents and accompanying XML files are uploaded for processing by KnowledgeTree DWI Service prior to upload to the KnowledgeTree repository. KnowledgeTree DWI Service monitors this folder location for documents that must be processed and uploaded to the repository.

ArchiveFolder

The folder where KnowledgeTree DWI Service moves documents and their accompanying XML files when this content has been successfully uploaded to the repository and processed.

FailureFolder

The folder where KnowledgeTree DWI Service moves documents and their accompanying XML files when the upload and processing of this content has failed.

Document Processing

Pause ...ms

This field defines a buffer period, in milliseconds (ms), between the time a document is dropped into the watchfolder, and the time the accompanying XML is dropped into the watchfolder. The default is 1200 ms (= 1,2 seconds).

XML Filename Format

Defines the xml naming convention to use for documents uploaded through KnowledgeTree DWI Service.

Action_________________________________________________

... (Browse Buttons adjacent to each Folder field)

These buttons each open a Browse For Folder dialog box, where you can create a new folder and/or select a new folder location for the folder specified in the adjacent field.

Save

This button saves your changes and updates the dwiservice.config file.

Reload

This button resets the fields with the information current in the last saved dwiservice.config file.

Exit

This button closes the KnowledgeTree DWI Service configuration tool and its graphical user interface, the KnowledgeTree DWI Service Configuration window.
