This procedures configures metadata specifically for KnowledgeTree DWI Service.

Note: Configuring metadata prior to using KnowledgeTree DWI Service for uploads is an optional, although recommended, task - you can upload with unknown metadata.

Perform the following tasks:

1.	Use your administrator credentials to log in to KnowledgeTree's Web interface.

2.	Click DMS Administration to open the repository's administrative module.

3.	Click Document Metadata and Workflow Configuration.

4.	Configure the KnowledgeTree DWI metadata:

•	create a KnowledgeTree DWI Service document type

Warning: Do not disable KnowledgeTree's 'default' document type.

•	create KnowledgeTree DWI Service fieldsets - one or more.

•	create KnowledgeTree DWI Service fields - one or more - within each fieldset.

•	associate the KnowledgeTree DWI Service fieldsets with the KnowledgeTree DWI Service document type.
