Managing KnowledgeTree > DMS Administration > Miscellaneous > Editing Help Files > Viewing / Editing / Deleting / Customizing Help

This procedure Displays, Edits, Deletes and Customizes existing onscreen Help files.

 

Perform the following steps:

1.Open DMS Administration; then, click Miscellaneous.

 

2.Click Edit Help Files to open the Current help assignments page.

customize an existing onscreen Help file? Open any page in the system where you want to customize the onscreen Help; then, click this iconto open the file. Click Edit this help page to open the help file editing page. Make the required changes in the file; then, click Update.

 

view all the existing customized Help files? View the displayed list of files in the Existing customized help pages section on this page.

 

edit a help file? Click on the help file name in the Name column in the table. Make the required changes; then, click Update.

 

delete a help file? Click Delete in the Action column for the relevant help file.

Note: When deleting a customized help file, KnowledgeTree reinstates the default help

information that existed on the system before you edited the file, and the file is removed

from the list in Existing customized help pages.
