Managing KnowledgeTree > DMS Administration > Users and Groups > Manage Groups

The following tasks are performed in the Manage Groups section of Users and Groups in DMS Administration:

 

view groups
add groups
edit groups - change group name, allocate unit admin rights and system admin rights, add or remove a group from a unit
add users to a group
remove users from a group
add sub groups to a group
remove sub groups from a group

 

Note: Only a User who has been assigned to a Group is allowed to access KnowledgeTree's document management system.

 

Note: Groups can be members of other groups, and can have other groups as members.  These memberships pass the permissions set on to the parent group to user members of the member groups, possibly along a few chains.
