Purchasing User Tokens

Upgrading a KnowledgeTreeLive Account > Purchasing User Tokens

This procedure adds additional user tokens to your KnowledgeTreeLive subscription account.

 

Pre-requisites:

You need to have upgraded your KnowledgeTreeLive Trial account to the paid subscription service.

Note: You will also be able to purchase additional user tokens when upgrading your

KnowledgeTreeLive Trial account to the paid subscription account.

 

Perform the following steps:

1.Log in to your KnowledgeTreeLive account.

 

2.On the KnowledgeTreeLive Dashboard, in the My account usage dashlet, click Buy user tokens to open the Account Management page.

Note: The link text on the dashlet is appropriate to the account type - i.e. if this is a trial

account, link text is 'Upgrade account'; if this is a subscription account, the link text is

'Buy user tokens'.

 

3.On the Account Management page, click on Purchase Tokens to open the Account Upgrade page.

Note: The Upgrade Account / Purchase Tokens icon and text combination on this page

displays appropriate to the account type. If this is a trial account, the link text and icon

displays as 'Upgrade Account'; if this is an existing subscription account, the text and

icon displays as 'Purchase Tokens'.

 

4.On the Account Upgrade page, do the following:
4.1.In the Purchase [   ] additional user tokens @ ... field, define the number of additional user tokens required on your upgraded account, if required.

Note: By default, a KnowledgeTreeLive account (Trial or Subscription) includes a

minimum number of users - see the KnowledgeTreeLive product page on the

KnowledgeTree website for the latest information on minimum user numbers.

 

4.2.Note the calculated cost of your purchase.

 

4.3.Click the Purchase button.

 

5.View the transaction summary, which provides the details of your transaction:
number of user tokens purchased (minimum)
current monthly subscription cost
added monthly cost of additional user tokens purchased
total cost (monthly subscription)

 

6.Do you want to ...
add or remove user tokens? Click Cancel to return to the Account Upgrade page. Go back to step 4 to define new information.

 

proceed with your transaction? Click Confirm

 

7.On the Payment screen, log in using your Amazon payment credentials to authorize this monthly subscription purchase.

Note: The purchase token is a recurring token - your credit card will be billed with the

specified amount on a monthly basis.

 

8.If your payment token is successfully authorized, your KnowledgeTreeLive account is updated. You can view the updated account on the Account Management page within KnowledgeTreeLive.

Note: You will receive immediate notification via a payment failure screen if your payment

authorization fails, and your KnowledgeTreeLive account status (number of user tokens)

remains unchanged.

 

9.Allocate the additional user tokens to users requiring access to your KnowledgeTreeLive account - add users in KnowledgeTree's DMS Administration module.
